Where to meet: The parking area is on Powerhouse Road, Amsterdam, NY. The Google map plus code is 87J7VP8P+X8 or 42.867494, -74.264151 Lat. Long. Go to the dirt road entrance on the left 0.3 miles south of Youngs Corners Road and Power House Road.

Description of the Outing: Youngs Lakes are oxbows ponds of the old riverbed of Schoharie Creek. So far Steve and Carl have recorded 143 species for the area but have just scratched the surface. Habitats include upland forest, marshes, ponds and shale cliffs. Join us for a leisurely walk to find new plants for the list.

 What to bring: Bring a lunch, water and field clothes including boots or shoes you can get wet. Plant guides and a hand lens also recommended.
