Iris pseudacorus

Yellow flag iris is a perennial plant that occurs in wet areas such as ditches and marshes. An incredible root sytructure makes it very hard to remove. It is on a watch list for invasive species in the Finger Lakes region, but is prohibited for sale, purchase etc. in NYS due to invasive status in other parts of the state.
