Compound

Compound:  composed of two or more separate, similar components.

Compound leaf:  composed of two or more distinct, often similar leaflets, which are attached only at the midrib, not to each other.  (Compare with lobed.)

Compound inflorescence:  an inflorescence which is composed of two or more similar, smaller inflorescences.
