| Evergreen plants are plants that retain leaves throughout the year. For some species, leaves of the prior season wither as soon as fresh leaves emerge in spring. Evergreen plants include a wide range of species, including some trees, shrubs, ferns, vines and herbaceous, flowering plants. | ||
