| A graminoid is a grass-like, flowering, herbaceous (non-woody) plant. Their leaves are all extremely narrow, many times longer than wide, and have parallel veins. They belong to three different plant families: Poaceae (grasses), Cyperaceae (sedges) and Juncaceae (rushes). | ||
