Invasive

	Invasive refers to non-native plant or animal species (in this context, plant species) that are capable of spreading so aggressively in many types of ecological conditions that they become dominant in those situations and substantially alter the ecology of the area, and/or contribute to the decline of most other plant species that were present. In the extreme, invasive species may even create plant monocultures.
