Stolon |
||
| A
horizontal
stem
that
normally
or
typically
grows
at
or
near
the
surface
of
the
ground,
and
may
develop
roots
at
nodes.
A
stolon
is
a
vegetative
method
of
plant
reproduction.
This term does not refer to normal aerial stems that have simply fallen down. |
