The last leg of your
walk along the rim trail is level and easy to do. The ground is soft and
smooth. It isn't one of the more scenic sections of the gorge trail
system, and you won't be able to view waterfalls. However, if you enjoy
studying trees, there are over twenty species of trees here: oaks, maples,
basswood, ash, hornbeams, hemlocks, white pine and poplars. |
