Description
UPDATE: Meet at 10:00 am where King Rd. crosses the pipeline. 42.406062, -76.490682 . Because parking is limited along the road, Hospicare will let us park in the back of their lot (employee parking area).
We'll walk north along the pipeline and then follow the power line cut to the right. The first few hundred feet of the pipeline will be very wet, so rubber boots may be preferred. We’ll look at some oak woods and openings along the way. And some interesting wetlands on the Cornell and Ithaca College properties.
