Domed

"Domed" is an adjective that is used to describe the shape of a plant structure, such as an inflorescence, whereby the upper surface of the structure is obviously very elevated or rounded.  Domed is similar to "convex", but implies that the rounded upper surface of the structure is evidently quite pronounced.  Another similar term is "peaked".
