Viburnum acerifolium

A common shrub in forests, mostly in acidic soils. Frequently browsed. Very colorful fall foliage. The mature dark blue-black berries distinguish this from Viburnum trilobum or Viburnum opulus as they both have red berries. (Maple leaf Viburnum berries are red when not ripe.)
