A Virtual Tour of the Gorge at Buttermilk Falls State Park

At this point in your hike you are fairly high above the creek. At some point, probably decades ago, it was decided to erect a chain-link fence to prevent hikers from falling off the high cliffs above the creek.  Views of the walls of the gorge and the creek itself will be somewhat limited until the gorge trail descends to the level of the creek and the cascades.
