About the Finger Lakes Native Plant Society

We are a native plant society located in central New York, founded in 1997. We meet at the Nevin Welcome Center, Cornell Botanic Gardens, 124 Comstock Knoll Drive, Ithaca.

Free public INDOOR PRESENTATIONS are held each month September through May.

Free, guided, public FIELD TRIPS to local areas of interest are held throughout the year.

PUBLIC EDUCATION EVENTS are also held throughout the year. Watch for FLNPS participation at:
Earth Day Celebrations
Spring Garden Fair and Plant Sale

Our Steering Committee is elected each spring by popular vote of our membership.

All Finger Lakes Native Plant Society members receive our newsletter "Solidago". This document is published quarterly and contains information about local native plants and upcoming programs.
