FLLT 30th Anniversary Walk - Wesley Hill Nature Preserve, Richmond

Executive Director Andy Zepp will lead participants on a 3.8-mile hike through the 390-acre Wesley Hill Nature Preserve, home to the immense Briggs Gully, one of the largest gorges in our region. Diverse stands of mature forest—including about 10 acres of old-growth—a wide array of wildflowers, and sweeping views of the hills surrounding Honeoye Lake’s southern end make this preserve truly special. Andy will discuss the history of the preserve and the Land Trust’s role in acquiring it, as well as its flora and fauna. The hike will last approximately two hours and will be followed by a celebration of Wesley Hill’s 20th anniversary.
