Saturday, November 9th @ 10am – 5pm
This family event is a celebration of the gifts of the trees. We'll be outdoors, roasting and cracking nuts all day, enjoying a bonfire, talking about trees, and tasting things like acorns, american persimmons, chestnuts, hickory nuts, butternuts, hazelnuts, and black walnuts. We will have stations set up for you to experience everything from roasting chestnuts to pressing walnut oil. Kids welcome. $5-20 suggested donation, or bring local food to share.
