Explore local mosses, learn about their habits & habitats. We will visit the bog at Lime Hollow to look at different species of peat moss with Jon and other mosses with Norm. Bring a hand lens, boots and either skill walking on soggy, bouncy ground, or a sense of humor.
Carpool from the Cooperative Extension lot at 615 Willow Ave at 1 pm sharp or meet about 1:30 at Lime Hollow's Chicago Bog Trailhead parking (limited room) on Gracie Rd. at 42.5624, -76.2473.
