Botanical Art, Milly Acharya; reception & talk by P. Boyle

You are cordially invited to attend an art reception at BTI on Thursday, June 19, 4-7 PM.

Over 40 original watercolors and prints created by the botanical illustrator Milly Acharya will be on display and available for purchase. BTI's own Patrick Boyle will give a very entertaining talk about plant immunity/art appreciation, around 5:30, and Milly will also do a short presentation about the divergence and association of art and science and the history of botanical illustration. Live flute music will be provided by Elizabeth Shuhan, and light refreshments will be available.

Please feel free to invite family, friends or colleagues to enjoy this reception with you. Please share your observations about the art work in the book provided by Milly on the glass topped table in the atrium.
