Description
As a follow-up to his March presentation on the Asteraceae, Arieh Tal will offer a workshop and several field trips for those who wish to delve deeper into the identification of this intriguing and diverse plant family. The workshop, co-sponsored by Cornell's L.H. Bailey Hortorium, will consist of one 2-hour indoor session followed by a field excursion (same day). The workshop will be held Sunday, May 31st from 10-2 (bring a bag lunch) with 3 additional field excursions to follow during the remainder of the growing season. Attend one or all of the sessions, however, the workshop is strongly recommended. Handouts provided.
Pre-registration is also strongly recommended.* Dates are still not finalized for all walks, but information will be added to this site as the details are decided!
