Finger Lakes Native Plant Society is being honored for their active contribution to the improvement of the Town of Ithaca’s natural environment. We thank them especially for their work weeding out invasive stilt-grass from Sixmile Creek, for their annual plant sale, and their educating citizens in the use and appreciation of native flora and the habitats that depend on them.

*Directions: The section of the South Hill Recreation Way where we'll hold the Award Presentation and Tree-Planting party is located near the Juniper Drive trailhead above Vincenzo Iacovelli Park. Juniper Drive's uphill intersection with Coddington Road is about a third of a mile east from Ithaca College's entrance on Coddington.
