Description
Join botanist David Werier and learn about the wild spring plants that adorn the local landscape. This walk will help familiarize participants with the plants that occur in the rich bottomlands of the Cayuga Inlet valley, from may apple to wild blue phlox to a diversity of violet species. And don’t forget the countless sedges and grasses which are the true robins of the plant world, many being well-adapted to the world humans have created, including a massive deer population. Limited group size - registration required
