Insideously attractive, this species is very difficult to eradicate once established. Roots break easily and resprout. Found in the wild mostly near abandoned dwellings, roadsides or other disturbed sites. Identify any similar looking weedy Campanulas to be certain. The Native Plant Trust suggests eradicating the plant by eating as the leaves and young shoots are high in vitamin C and mild in flavor, and the roots are edible raw or cooked (Go Botany).
