Beaver Meadow State Forest

Nearly 6000 acres in Chenango county, the first NY state forest to implement a Deer Management Assistance Program in an effort to mitigate the effects of deer browse. The program ran from 2010-2020 and was discontinued due to decrease in deer damage among other factors.
