Introduction to Tree I.D. Forest Walk

with Alex Petzke

Alex Petzke,  a member of the Finger Lakes Native Plant Society, will lead an introductory class and forest walk focusing on native trees and shrubs found in the Finger Lakes region. We will learn basic features of these woody plants that will prove useful in their identification, as well as their ecology in our local ecosystems.

All of our classes are free, but registration is appreciated. Please call the Lodi Whittier Library at (607)-582-6218 to register or for more information.

Please park and meet where the Interlochen Trail crosses Searsburg Road/Route 1 in the Finger Lakes National Forest.

Generously sponsored by the Delavan Foundation as part of the Lodi Whittier Library’s 2014-2015 Arts and Artisans Series.
