Hoxie Gorge State Forest

Hoxie Gorge is a state forest with a portion of the Finger Lakes Trail, a nature trail, and a snowmobile route that can be used for hiking. Hoxie Gorge State Forest is upstream and adjacent to SUNY Cortland's Hoxie Gorge Nature Preserve.  The State Forest has 2,115 acres of land with Public Forest Access Roads off of Steve Russell Hill Road There are 2.6 miles of recreational access plus two separate segments of accessible trails for those with impaired mobility.See https://dec.ny.gov/places/hoxie-gorge-state-forest for more info and directions.
