Campanula americana

A biennial found in "deciduous forests, bottomland forests, thickets, and disturbed areas often in alluvial soils. Perhaps most common in bottomlands but rare in NY." (NY Flora Atlas) Probably extirpated in the wild in the Finger Lakes area.  It is more common in the mid-Atlantic region through the mid-West, and is available commercially.
