A very, very common lawn and garden weed in the Finger Lakes. Try to remove it before the seeds "shoot" hither and yon. Occasionally found in native habitats, but mostly in disturbed areas. Despite the name, the leaves are "mild and peppery" (BBG blog) and good for microgreens and sandwiches!
