Convallaria majalis

A long-lived traditional groundcover that is difficult to eradicate due to its rhizomatous nature and ability to self sow. Deer and walnut proof, it has been heavily used in horticulture but is naturalizing along roads and from old housing sites. All parts of the plant are poisonous.
