Corydalis aurea var aurea

Also called Scrambled Eggs, the yellow flowers of Corydalis aurea can be seen in well drained sites such as bluffs & cliffs. Garden & nursery plants are probably from more western seed sources; this species is likely extirpated in the Cayuga Basin.
