Cystopteris fragilis
Found on wet cliffs, cracks in rocks, slopes and ravines. Long fronds up to 14 inches, twice divided, in an irregular clump. Can be confused with C. tenuis and some Woodsia spp. The lowest pinnae are slightly smaller than those above, distinguishing this fern from a bulblet fern without any bulblets.
