Enemion biternatum

Not strictly native to the Finger Lakes region, but horticultural use can lead to confusion with the similar native Thalictrum (Anemonella) thalictroides. Enemion has deeper lobes, often forming leaflets, and can form colonies, whereas T. thalictroides is more often found as a single stem. Native to far western NY state and further west. Goes dormant in mid-late summer.
