Erythronium americanum
Large colonies of trout lilies can be seen in a variety of wooded settings. Not all populations bloom; of those that do, the pollen color can be yellow or a striking orange. Post blooming period, stolons appear like white rubber bands along the ground surface , mostly from non-blooming plants.
