Geum fragarioides

A woodland species found throughout NY. Frequently used in horticulture as a mat-forming groundcover under the prior name Waldsteinia fragarioides. (Note that some taxonomists have reverted to or never changed from Waldsteinia, but FLNPS follows the NYFA Atlas.)
