Sanicula odorata
Native of floodplain forests and rich woodlands. Can spread readily via seed and become a groundcover in favorable locations. Vegetation very similar to native Anemone species at a glance.
Initially appears to be Zizia, but subsequent leaves are significantly more serrated and rounded.
