Stachys palustris

Confusingly listed as native or non-native depending on reference. Some sources list this species as native in North America; some state it is introduced to North America from Europe and Asia. It is definitely naturalized in many parts of the US and Canada, along shorelines and sometimes in marshes or swamps. According to the NY Flora Atlas, the species is naturalized in NYS.
