Thalictrum pubescens
Taller than early meadow rue, found in moister locations, and blooming mid-summer. According to Flora North America, the ovaries change color from white to a purplish to green and then brown. Seeds of Thalictrum are collected when green AND they fall off easily. Keep them moist.
