Trillium recurvatum

A sessile trillium native to central and eastern US (primary range is IA south to TX east to NC north to PA).  It is listed on the FLNPS website because of an interesting report on deer herbivory in the Chicago area (Solidago 10:4). As a garden plant it is maybe too enthusiastic here.
