Vaccinium oxycoccus
Grows in acidic bogs or boggy soils. As the common name suggests, this species has smaller fruit and leaves. The berry is drier than V. macrocarpon and leaves have acute tips and margins that roll under. This species is roughly circumboreal. A key to northeastern Vacciniums can be found in Go Botany at this link.
