Seed Collection Dates @ Mundy Wildflower Garden
Click the link below for a pdf of collection dates for seeds that ended up in the Mundy Wildflower Garden seed collections. Some were collected at the garden, some from nearby wild populations (with permission) and some by FLNPS members from properties available to them. The collection dates do not necessarily correspond to viable seeds; the seed may have been collected too early or too late. And the "proper" time to collect a given species will vary from year to year. But this will give an idea of the dates to start looking. Data reflects ~5 years prior to 2024, and is arranged by earliest collect date within 2-week periods (S). The last collection period is marked with an (E).
