Calystegia sepium
Hedge bindweed has a circumpolar native distribution. It grows well in disturbed sites, and is considered to be a mix of native and introduced in the lower 48 states. While attractive, this plant can become a pest in cultivated areas, where it twines around desirable plants. It is very hard to eradicate.
