Vaccinium corymbosum
The tasty blueberry; a medium height shrub. Mostly found in wetlands, but can be seen in "thin soils on crests & upper slopes" (NY Flora Atlas) A key to northeastern Vaccinium can be found on Go Botany at this link. Many cultivars exist, and they can be grown in sandy acidic soils.
