Viola labradorica

Heat tolerant woodlander.  A stalked violet with light purple flowers and nearly hairless leaves. The commonly seen horticultural form (dark purple with red/purple undersides of new leaves) is a more northern form, not our local form. See Botphoto.info for ID information & key.
